Case Studies
Following the successful rollout of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to our first local GP Practice, we have received the following great feedback from them:
The Ridings Medical Group
The Ridings Medical Group employ over 220 staff across 5 sites so the I must admit I wasn’t looking forward to the pilot roll out of MFA across the Practice. N3i assured me that they would try to make it as seamless as possible and promised to guide the staff in the enrolment process.
I have to say they were true to their word. They sent out communications via email to all NHS mail users asking them to enrol before a set date, this included step by step instructions which included screenshots. We followed this up with internal communications to encourage staff to take note and read the email.
We received an update shortly before the cutoff date and gave the remaining staff a gentle reminder. Most people these days use multi-factor authentication for internet banking and shopping so are used to some kind of authentication when using online apps. It is great that users can pick either text message or app authentication as an option.
The majority of staff were able to set this up without any input from managers or other staff and only a small handful needed assistance. We now have all our staff enrolled in MFA and will by default enrol any new users from commencement.
The assistance and guidance from Steven and his team at N3i was first class and I would say it is one of smoothest IT projects I have ever been involved in. The staff were all onboard and seemed to understand the need for this change.
Thank you to Steven and those involved at N3i for another quality project delivery 😊
